It was a great pleasure for CIIPA to organise a visit to Saarland by a delegation of Chinese automotive companies. Our delegation was warmly received by our counterpart Saaris e.V., who arranged a series of visits. We visited the incubators co:hub66 and Startup Elexir, which represent cutting-edge technology; the Nobo Automotive factory in Saarlouis, which belongs to China Great Wall Motors; Villeroy & Boch, the world-famous German porcelain factory, present us with the perfect combination of cultural heritage, craftsmanship and modern design;Visit to the Saarpolygon - symbol of successful structural, in particular, the stunning scenery of Saarschleife, is widely acclaimed as the peak of perfection, which is really impressive.
Saarland is the smallest federal state, but with a brilliant culture, a long history and as well as a solid industrial base, it has especially achieved a perfect industrial transformation, attracting many Chinese investors including Nobo Great Wall, Svolt etc. investing in the region.
I would like to thank my respected counterpart Saaris e. V. and GwSaar, also my Chinese entrepreneurs in our group who visited Saarland together.
Many thanks to our respected partners of Saaris & GwSaar, Mr. Stephan Schweitzer, Ms. Nicole Boissier, Mr. Pascal Strobel, Ms. Anja Petschauer, Mr. Tim Vollmer
